Vitamins are substances that your body needs to grow, develop and stay healthy. Vitamins can not be made by the body in totality, so you have to take them from the nutrients that you eat (food), or from vitamins supplements.
They are 13 vitamins:
Vitamin A
, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K
and the B complex, that contains:
Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid (Vitamin B9), Niacin (Vitamin B3), Biotin ( Vitamin B7) and Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5).
Vitamins are also classified in lipid soluble (A, D, E, K), that can be stored for up to to six months, and vitamins water soluble, that can not be stored, and you have to provide them to your body on the daily basis, from nutrients or supplements.
